- A wooden block with a metal plate nailed to it. The plate is engraved with the mage of and artist (possibly Peter Whyte) standing at an easel painting a person dressed up in Indigenous regalia on canvas that is resting on an easel. Below the artist’s foot there is a case that has paint supplies, with tubes of paint around it, and one open and has been squeezed onto the floor. This image has been printed/sketched on the back of the wooden block. Ink stains on the metal and wood. Corresponds to ink drawing WyP.03.802
