- Two, small, handmade needle cases. (a) navy blue satin with feather stitched pink snowflake on front, folds in thirds and fastens with blue button;, picot edging along sides and pink loop buttonhole. Inside lined with pink flannel and filled with pins of different colours and sizes in neat rows. (b) small, pink, book like case with cross stitched green flower basket on cover, lined with flower sprigged satiny material. Two white flannel pages edged with pink blanket stitch hold various needles of all sizes. Covers hinged together with three knotted thread hinges, with thread loop securing over head of a straight pin to close. Covers stitched around stiff cardboard.
