- Description
- Rubber stamp that denotes special handling specifications that can be seen on a vulcanized piece of rubber, which has been mounted to a small but stable red wood block. The information appears backwards and simply reads: “NICHOLAS MORANT.” The same information can be seen on the top edge of the wood block attached by a plastic holder that would have made identification much easier. There is a gold (metal) hook located on the proper left side of the wood block that would have allowed the stamp to be be tied (using string) to a belt or pant loop when in the field.
