- three hand-carved, painted figures of men on wood bases:(a) a man (figure 11.0x 5.0cm wide, base 3.5x4.80cm wide) wearing a top hat, 3/4 length dress coat, a scarf, dress pants and shoes. He is smiling, has his finger and thumb up, viewer’s left, and in his right hand he has a walking stick (cane). (b) a man (figure 10.5x4.5cm wide, base 3.5x4.3cm wide) slightly hunched over, wearing a hat, vest, shirt, pants and knee-high boots. In his left hand, viewer’s left, he is carrying a jug and he has his finger and thumb up on his right hand.(c) a man (figure 11.0x5.0cm wide, 3.2x4.70cm wide) wearing a hat, scarf, vest shirt, pants patched at the knees and knee-high boots. He has his hands in his pockets and his stomach pushed forward.Each of the figures has a round paper sticker on the base “SYDNEY REYNOLDS LTD.” “VICTORIA B.C.” ; also on the base hand printed in pen “HAND CARVED”.
