- Description
- Early model, solid wooden jumping skis with wide, bevelled tip. Were painted white but have worn and faded to natural, pale coloured wood. Overlapped lancet pattern incised in upper surface of ski for decoration. "E" on topside of ski near tip, side wall of skis has been chiselled out to hold steel plate and leather binding strap. Single groove on base of ski runs from toe plate to end of ski. Canvas boot platform affixed at toe and leather straps are attached to canvas for holding boot to ski. Metal plate under canvas platform is marked from boot heel pressure. Skis minor chipping and scuffing.
