- a) F2 avalanche transceiver with earpiece. Transceiver casing is rectangular, blue plastic with navy dial. Dark blue text printed on front and back in German, significantly worn away. Metal battery compartment screw at top right, just to the left is socket to connect earpiece. Earpiece is connected via black cord, earphone itself is peg shaped, white plastic, attached via a white plastic ear clip. Black body strap is attached at bottom left attachment for neck strap is a clip socket at bottom right. “SCOTT” written in black up the right side of transceiver casing.b) 2 x 9 x 14.5 cm. Blue, tombstone shaped nylon carrying case for transceiver. Circular hole in front, bottom right, surrounded by faded numbers which correspond to the dial of the F2 transceiver itself. Top front of the case can be folded down and fastened via a snap 7cm down. Body strap can be coiled and fastened through the bottom of case via a velcro flap. Case is designed so that transceiver may be used while inside case. Back zipper fully fastens the right and top side of case. “SCOTT #1” written in black up back side of case.c) 29.5 x 62.7. Full colour Ortovox advertising pamphlet. Pamphlet shows photographs and descriptions of various Ortovox products including transceivers (F1 plus, F2, Skimaus), shovel, backpacks, and a first aid kit. All text is in German.
