- A scroll-like banner with a painted picture of a Buddhist god, framed by yellow and red plaid fabric; banner is supported at top by piece of wood through casing in fabric, and at bottom by carved round dowel with carved knob protruding from casing at each side; image of painting (26.5 x 18.0 cm.) is sandwiched at centre between a "frame of yellow, red and black plaid fabric on front, and similar framing, of burlap canvas pieces on back, hangs by loop of burlap around top red; painting, on canvas with water-based opaque pigment, is of ornate, flowing Buddhist(?) god seated cross-legged before large grey rock, and "smoking" a flowery vine; praying small figure floats over his head; background of mountains and clouds with moon and sun in sky; painted red border; back of canvas painting has series of Sanskrit writing in a line from top.
