- A colour photograph; the bottom three quarters of the picture is the gravel roadbed with various highway substructures evident, i.e. corrugated, round metal culverts, a triangular cement culvert; red ribbons wound around wooden sticks; a paved lane runs from centre left to centre; in the background a mountain range with a blue sky and some white clouds. A documentary photographic exhibition entitled Structured Paradise was organized by the Walter Phillips Gallery in response to Parks Canada centennial celebration in 1985, and then donated to The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies.
