The cut out appears to be a bottle (with a narrow top) and extends diagonally across the surface from the lower right corner to the upper left corner. The top of the bottle in the upper left corner is brightly lit, appearing white. The object could be either 104.19.1009 a or b. The object is a cast iron pan and is placed on a wooden table with dramatic lighting. The artifacts 104.19.1009 a a, b can be found in the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies database and on 4 B bay Bay 6 Shelf 4.
