- Description
- Hand-painted needlework pattern on gridded card depicting a floral pattern on a V shaped black background. The pattern features large, red, heart-shaped leaves that span across the entire space. There are six small bundles of blue forget-me-not flowers that are evenly placed throughout the design. Three pink roses appear near the bottom of the design with green foliage. There is a white circle in the center. At the top corner of the grid, the number “4149” is written. This is most likely the pattern’s number. At the bottom of the grid, there is an inscription that reads “Berlin bei Carl F. W. Wicht” which translates from German as “Berlin by Carl F. W. Wicht”. There is a large, bold “3” in the bottom left corner of the grid. The pattern is used to create a slipper.
