- Description
- A view of Cathedral peaks, with the main mountain located in the background to the right of the centre of the composition. A horizontal range of rock extends to the left side of the picture, while the main peak slopes downwards to the right side of the sketch. The foreground is composed of hills covered in dark green trees and areas of light green grass. The background mountains are steel-grey blue with touches of purple blended in. White patches of snow divide the main peak from the horizontal range. The sky, occupying the top third of the composition, is filled with grey clouds, except for a strip of blue on the left-hand side.
