- Description
- A view of a coastal village. In the lower right corner are two rusty barrels of brick-red and brown bands. Beyond the barrels to the right of centre is a large light blue-green house, with a brick-red roof and one brown window. A blue and white tent is set up in front of the house. A brown pole borders the right side of the house and tent. The pole extends from the top of the picture to just below the blue tent. A number of other buildings are found in the picture, though the upper left quarter contains only an area of grass and rock which merges into a strip of distant water. The brown-grey rock and water are distinguished mainly by different directions of brushstrokes. Beyond the water lies a broken horizon of grey land, and light blue sky.
