- Description
- The foreground contains a grass slope extending downwards from the left side. The grass is a mixture of light tan, ochre and green. One tall tree stands to the right of centre on the lower edge of the slope. The tree's black trunk extends beyond the top of the picture frame, and has a few branches with yellow leaves. On the far side of the slope, the tops of trees with a lot of yellow foliage can be seen. Beyond the slope, a blue river enters from the right and winds out of sight into a forested valley. A mountain slopes down from the left, with an upper edge of violet-grey rock, and a lower base of forest and patches of yellow grass. In the background are two mountain ranges with sections of eroded rock rising vertically. The sky is light blue.
