- Description
- View of Cathedral Mountain looking from Opabin Plateau near Lake O'Hara. In the right foreground are two tall larch trees, whose needles are small brushstrokes of yellow, ochre, light green and orange. The trees' trunks and thin branches are dark brown. In the left foreground two very small larch trees are also growing amongst violet-grey boulders. The triangular shape of Cathedral Mountain is in the left background. Its peak has two distinctive groups of cliffs side-by-side. The mountain is brown, dark blue and violet with touches of ochre and light red-brown. On the mountainside near the picture's centre is found a blue-grey area of snow. The sky is filled with a grey and light yellow cloud which stretches from the middle of the left-hand side to the upper right.
