- John George "Red" Cathcart, 1903-1973, came to Banff first in 1922 as a packer for Pat Brewster and Jimmy Simpson. After the Second World War, he returned to Banff and worked at the Luxton Museum. Later, he worked for the Glenbow and Riveredge Foundations in Calgary.
