- Daniel Lardon was a Banff resident who applied to have the Birney home (1912-1920s) at 308 Squirrel Street, Banff, designated a Registered Historic Resource. Earle Birney supported this process and provided Lardon with information. Renovations to the home eventually made the building ineligible.
