- Lieutenant Colonel H. Westmorland O.B.E., b.1886, was a mountaineer and Canadian soldier at Keswick, England. "Rusty" Westmorland lead numerous climbs at the Alpine Club of Canada annual camps, 1912-1944, and worked on the Alberta-British Columbia boundary survey 1913-1914. He was involved in mountain warfare training during the Second World War in Jasper and in the Little Yoho Valley.
