- Wendy Bush grew up in Quebec and eastern Ontario and attended the University of Waterloo and the University of Alberta receiving a degree in Biology/Ecology. She is a guide, naturalist, writer and horse wrangler in Alberta's national and provincial parks and currently lives in the Canadian Rockies and Alberta foothills area. In 2005 Wendy Bush was presented with the Banff Award for Heritage Excellence.
