Pages which have been damaged by prolonged contact with the plastic pockets within the photo album have been re-housed in mylar to prevent further damage. If additional damage occurs to other pages/photos, they should be treated similarly.

Susan Mellen and researchers documented thirty locations of back country log structures from among two hundred possible locations in Banff National Park during 1983. The project was submitted to Alberta Culture Historic Sites with sponsorship from the Peter and Catharine Whyte Foundation.

Also consists of one b&w portrait of Nicholas Morant as a teenager, dressed formally, with a grey metal frame and raised 'bubble-shaped' glass front.

However, these specific copies have been categorized as 'personal' rather than professional as they were kept by Nicholas Morant for personal use.
All prints in this file were originally in frames, and were removed for storage and conservation reasons. Frames for items PA - 20, PA - 22 and PA - 23 were each labelled with the number '4827' on the back. The frame from PA - 23 also had an attached label which read as follows:
"Hudson's Bay Company ART DEPARTMENT 4827 Winnipeg"
