The land in this painting is rolling hills of green and brown yellow colours. The horizon line is about two thirds of the way up the painting from the bottom. In the folds of rolling hills are trees of dark and medium colour green. In the center of the painting are two buildings. One may be a house and the other a small barn. On the left side there is another building that looks like barn. The sky is a blue/grey colour.
General colour: blue, grey. Rocks go along the bottom edge and out from the left in big boulders. These mark the edge of a pool of water. A piece of land with boulders comes out from the right one third up. Behind are blue mountains partly hidden by enveloping clouds.
