Series consists of textual records, photographs and video and sound recordings collected by Eleanor Luxton. Contents include various published and unpublished materials, including sheet music, correspondence, books about Canadian and Indigenous history, magazines, souvenir publications, travel guides, and pamphlets; visual materials, including commercial postcards, portraits of Georginal Luxton and other family members, photographs of the Tilikum on display in Victoria, and a portfolio of illustrated Stoney Nakoda portraits by R.H. The Luxton Family Bible belonged to Sarah Jane Luxton (Norman's mother) who passed it to Olive Luxton (Norman's sister); it was then passed down to Mary Nell Hosking (Norman's niece), then to Gail (Mary's daughter). The bible contains a family history, a record of marriages dating back to January 10, 1842, births, 1818, and deaths, 1848 (middle section; p.111 cont'd).
