Scope & Content
Item pertains to a post card photo album containing photographic portraits of various unidentified people [possibly members of the Flewwelling family] - most are posed in studio settings - as well as scenic photographs from around Banff National Park, post cards [some in English, some in Swedish], and a CPR and Department of Natural Resources map of Alberta and Saskatchewan tucked into the back cover. The album has a soft black leather cover with "Post Card Album" embossed in gold in the bottom right corner on the front and green pages with slots cut out to slip items in - each page can hold three items.
One souvenir postcard booklet titled "Post Folder Souvenir of the Canadian Rockies". Postcards depict colourized views of Banff Springs Hotel, Canmore, Lake Louise, Emerald Lake and related scenes. Booklet is signed by A.J. Carpenter in pencil.
