A fireplace bellows with each side made from wood cut in a tear shape. There are two flat rectangular handles cut at the blunt end and the pointed end has a long, tapering, protruding metal tube. A leather diaphragm between the two sides is tacked along the edges of the wood and pleated over two small round branches bent to follow shape of wooden sides. There is leather strapping on one side of the wood at the pointed end as reinforcement. A round hole is cut in the middle of other side of wood, and fitted with a metal collar, and has a leather disphragm inside for air intake.
