Description
A round drum of rawhide stretched over a wooden hoop frame. Leather strips are laced through holes at the edge of the skin and pulled tightly across the back to form six spokes of leather which are woven around with another thong at the centre to tighten them even more. A thong loop wrist strap is tied around one spoke. There is slight residue of red paint on the hide’s surface. The letters “EEB BNN” are written in pencil on the back of the drum.
