A rusted red can that was used as a summit register container for Mt. Louis. The dented, rust-covered top is inside. Two-thirds of the rim where the lid fit on is cut away, probably by a can opener or a knife. There is a fragment of rust-coloured paper attached to the seam and extending to the right. The outside is painted red with about a third of paint worn away by the elements. The can has a big dent to the left of the seam.
