Description
A simple rectangular copper box, silver plated on sides and top. Lift off lid slips down over small copper lip. Top of lid has poem engraved in calligraphy of east-Asian writing. Box contains translation of poem on "American Mail Line" writing paper. "Friend of my belove(d) Ink. Friend of some birth place. Spring breeze is based of Writting (sic) brush. Always holding on the hand. Letter writting (sic) is mutially(?) in need. It will not be degeneralate (sic - degenerate?). Box contains small piece of compressed solid ink ? with east-Asian character stamped on side in gold, and inside is stained black.
