Rubber stamp made by Calgary Stamp & Stencil Corp. The rubber stamp has a red rounded handle with the company name “Calgary Stamp & Stencil” written in white. The information denotes special handling specifications that can be seen on a vulcanized piece of rubber, which has been mounted to a stable narrow wood block. The information appears backwards and reads: “CHARGE TO CANADIAN PACIFIC” “PUBLIC RELATIONS DEPT. MONTREAL.” The same information can be seen on the edge of the wood block attached by a plastic holder that would have made identification much easier. There is a metal hook that would have allowed the stamp to be be tied (using string) to a belt or pant loop when in the field.
