A collection of three miniature Swiss chalets in varying degrees of details. (a) very detailed and delicate three storied chalet with green shuttered windows paned with mirrors across front. Ornately carved balcony across at second storey, and balcony at first storey with staircase at either side leading to platform base, two lengths of picket fence stand in front, one missing, slanted roof covered with small U-shaped wooden blocks. Roof lifts on hinges to reveal small open box inside lined with purple paper, containing silver ice axe pin and carved wood purple gentian pin. (b) 6.4hx8.6wx6.8d, simply carved dark brown wooden log structure chalet with suggestion of shallow shed on right side, slanted roof covered with four small wooden blocks. Slot carved through roof parallel to ridgepole allows chalet to be used as bank, coins are released from under shed at side. (c) 2.4h, very tiny simple chalet of two storeys with lower smaller then upper, balcony across front and window with green shutters. Window panes represented by a piece of netting backed with a mirror, simple representation of staircase on right side, three small round black circles on roof.
