File consists of 16 b&w photographic prints from the filming of "Buffalo Bill" (1975). Content pertains to stills from various film scenes and action shots of cast members on horseback.
The Film "Buffalo Bill and the Indians, or Sitting Bull's History Lesson", was filmed in 1975 and released in 1976. The film was directed by Robert Altman and co-written by Robert Altman and Alan Rudolph. Key stars in the film include Paul Newman (Buffalo Bill), Frank Kaquitts (Sitting Bull), Joel Grey (The Producer), and Kevin McCarthy (The Publicist). Other actors include Harvey Keitel, Allan F. Nicholls, Geraldine Chaplin, John Considine, Fred N. Larsen, Pat McCormick and Burt Lancaster. The movie was filmed on location at the Stoney Nakoda reservation in Morley, Alberta, and many of the film extras were from this community. Stoney Nakoda Chief Frank Kaquitts (Sitting Wind) played the role of Sitting Bull

Item consists of one 16 mm motion picture titled "Charge of the Snow Brigade" by Gerald Potterton of Potterton Productions Inc. Potterton was the Writer, Producer, and Director. Bruno Engler served as a Special Advisor for the project. Filmed at Bow Lake and at the Peyto Lake Lookout, the plot follows an outlaw trapper who steals a snowmobile from outside a North West Mounted Police outpost, prompting a Marx Brothers-style chase wherein the Mountie attempts to apprehend the outlaw on snowshoes, skis, horse, truck, and snowmobile, which he eventually does.
Fonds consists of five 16mm film reels with visual content pertaining to skiing in Banff, Lake Louise and Chile.
