A round metal button badge containing a sepia-coloured photograph on a white background, of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, covered with plastic. There is a small, gold-covered royal crown on the top and a royal blue ribbon hanging from below the badge. The gold lettering on the front of the ribbon reads “A Royal Welcome from BANFF”. The metal crown and the ribbon are inserted under the button top and safety back, secured by the piece of metal turned under the rim becoming the vertical straight pin to attach the badge onto fabric.
