A group of people encamped near a stream. On the left a woman and very young child are sitting in front of a teepee, pine forest beyond; two pups are playing with adult dog looking on. Middle is a line of teepees, a chief in a trailing headdress and an Indian in a loincloth are looking towards two Indians on horseback people up and embankment from the stream.
