The vertical strips have buckskin ties at the tops, and are white with various triangles and diamonds, principally in vermilion with green and blue borders, gonfalon lower ends. The centre panel is almost square and is a very pale blue ground with a conventional flower made up of circles upon it in deep green and blood red, plus four leaves of light green. Two buckles of brass probably cast by lost wax or equivalent method. Each buckle is in two parts, the right band part of which slides into a slot on the left hand portion, and each is divided into an overall symmetric pattern of three panels. (a) is in deep relief and is an image of a dragon with heavily scaled body and ferocious expression, clawed feet in each panel. (b) is shallow relief of dragon in each panel, stylized body quite flat and a stylized knob head. Both have a border of conventional designs.
