(a) square 2.5x2.5cm copper with curved corners, charm/fetish issued by the National Parks Branch, Department of the Interior. There is a hole drilled in one corner at the top so it can hang as a pendant. A bison head has been stamped onto the metal and raised letters “ORENDA” on one side, au verso, in raised letter “BUFFALO MEDICINE CANADA’S NATIONAL PARKS SAVE THE FORESTS”. (b) a paper pouch folded to close, brown and beige to simulate leather; has Indigenous-style designs in red and blue (note: looks like Navajo design). There is a remnant of a piece of sticky tape where the charm was once attached to the paper pouch.
