Description
A clear glass cylindrical measuring jug with easy to pour lip that has been specifically designed for photo purposes. The jug would have been used to measure the volume or bulk solid of granular ingredients. The measuring jug has a scale marked along the one side which increases in increments of two beginning with 2 and continuing to 16. These measurements more than likely indicate fluid ounces, although this has not been specified. The other side reads “FOR PHOTO PURPOSE ONLY” in capital letters.

Description
A transparent polystyrene 600mL cylindrical measuring jug with easy to pour lip. The jug would have been used to measure the volume or bulk solid of granular ingredients. The measuring jug has a total of three scales that have uniform and widely separated markings which are very easy to read. The first two scales are side-by-side and indicate both milliliters and English fluid ounces. The milliliter scale increases in increments of 25 and begins at 25 and ends at 600. The English fluid scale increases by increments of 1 and begins at 1 and finishes at 22. The final scale represents U.S. fluid ounces also increasing in increments of 1 and begins with 1 and finishes with 22. The measuring jug has the name Patterson written on the base, signifying the manufacturer.
