- Two fragments of glazed earthenware tiles, (a) an end piece with one original border which reveals the original shape of the tile to be arabesque-like, the upper right side curves inward in an arc shape, the outer edge is coloured in an aqua-marine blue with a thin rust-orange border on front side, surface has white ground with deep cobalt blue flowers and delicate stems, green leaves and two rust-orange flowers, the same rust colour is applied as contrast to leaves and blue flowers, the colours have run slightly under the glaze ( b) is a corner fragment, too small to distinguish design; colours used are blue green and a dull gold on a white ground, designs are raised and outlined in unglazed clay.

- Pair of shoulder epaulettes and a breastplate. (c) Breastplate oval shaped 9.0x6.5, convex with "CS" engraved on front; on back 2 studs and one hook, all in silver. (a,b) epaulettes, overlapping metal disks of silver form long narrow band. Bottom widens slightly to half moon shape covered with coiled silver wire. From that hangs 15 silver wire coils 7.5 long. Underneath is a row of fine silver coiled wire, 7.5 long and under that is fine coiled thread, sewn onto a shaped pad, lined with silk. Came in a box on which is written: "Silver/Epaulettes/Specs (crossed off)/ Breastplate/ Spectacles (crossed off)/ of Father's C. Schaffer Sr. 1836/ Epaulettes of Chas Schaffer 1st"

- A needlepoint sampler, in many colours, done in cross-stitch on loosely woven ecru linen. The sampler has a double-stitched border with stitched bars between each row of letters (A-Z) beginning with capital letters, followed by numerals from 1 to 10, then lower case letters (a-z), then numerals from 1 to 6, then large capital letters (A-F), and ending with “Serena Matilda Potts 1822.” The piece was originally framed in a simple brown wood frame with a parallel line (wood grain?) texture. The paper backing has “Serena Potts’ work born 1812” handwritten and a “Royal Picture Gallery” (Calgary, Alberta) framer’s sticker.
