Purse folds in half and latches with tiny pear shaped ring on one side which latches over tiny pin on other. Inside, one half has a full, deep pocket behind a shallower pocket in front, both lined with gold silk. Other side has expanding pocket with folded gussets at the sides, and small flap which fastens with a flat ivory clip around a thread loop on the front of the pocket. Pocket lined with gold twilled fabric. Double pocket side stitched together at sides with brown cord in a slip stitch allowing those pockets to expand slightly for fullness.

Description
A child’s snowshoes circa 1920, made of wood. The snowshoes have bent wooden frames nailed together at the tail and toe is squared-off. Bracing the frame are two wooden bars which separate the gut webbing into three sections; the toe section and the section closest to the tail is laced in fine gut, tightly woven, the middle is heavier gut webbing wound around both wooden pieces, and interlaced with the finely woven toe and tail sections. There is a hole under the toe and just beneath that, a strip of white woven canvas to tie over a boot. The toe and tail have holes through the frame where the gut is laced through and there are tufts of red wool strung through the holes as decoration.

Description
A comb of wooden tines which radiate like the spokes of a wheel, through a section of arc from an extended handle. They are made of bamboo. At the focus they are bound in wire. Either side of the wedge of tines is encased in a darker wooden carved face plate which extends up to face the handle as well and the face plates are held to the extensions of the struts by fine brass wire, a shaft of wire running through the tines between the face plates and curled at its ends. A lace of fine brass wire separates as it binds the tines below the face plates. The face plates are carved with small stroke designs.
