Another piece of rectangular wood with bolts and wingnuts attached at the sides is designed to hold the skate blades. Single barrel lever-action Winchester rifle with a wooden stock and grip, a brass breech and butt, and a steel barrel. The stock is studded on one side with brass tacks in the design of a star and a cross. The bullets would load through a loading gate on the side of the breech. There is a hinged metal sight on barrel that is marked with the numerals “3” and “5”. The rifle is also marked with “PW” a stylized trademark on the breech and barrel, and with the serial number “148108” on the bottom of the stock near the lever lock. This rifle has the patent date March 29, 1865. Model 1866. 44 Rim Fire. Manufactured 1877.

A roach headdress made from porcupine guard hairs sewn around the edge of a support made from braided strips of fabric stitched together in an elongated shape much in the same manner as a braided rug. The long porcupine hairs are of natural colour and fan open when the braided mat is attached to the curvature of the head. A short length of cord has been stitched to the underside of the braided mat, with short lengths of heavy thread sewn at intervals along the edges. Stored with large carved b) club of wood inside to hold the form of the hairs smooth, and wrapped with a length of cord.
