Large 1.1 x .7 cm , oval, water opal, Australia Stone? flashing green and red fire. Back of pin flat, forming silhouette of front. (b) rhodium ? plated, sparkling silver coloured ellipse of fine, delicate, filigree bordered by a narrow band of sharply engraved pattern which picks up the light. Framed at centre is oval 1.4 x .9 piece of transparent glass with a small diamond .2 cm dia. at the centre set in a diamond shaped setting. Back of glass carved with radiating spikes which show through and form pattern around diamond.

The face is scaled from “26" to “31" in increments of ten with a “5” indicating the halfway point between each number. Appropriate points of the dial indicate “Changeable”, “Fair”, “Very Dry”, “Stormy” and “Rain”. There is an adjustment screw through the wood on the back with a keyhole bracket for hanging. The face of the barometer is marked “Compensated” and “Henry Birks & Sons Limited”.

- Maroon leather case with green satin velvet lining holds combination altimeter barometer of pocket watch like design. Brass casing and suspension loop. Casing rim ridged for gripping and rotation of altitude dial, inner dial, under crystal, is fixed and indicates barometric pressure in inches of mercury. Instrument is an aneroid barometer and needle varies with changes in atmospheric pressure, whether by change of altitude or change of weather. On dial face are following marks "rain change fair...compensated. Harrison & Co. Montreal, Made in England". On back of instrument casing is screw adjustment to correct for local conditions. Barometric pressure range is 17 to 31, altitude 0 to 16,000 feet.

- Small round twined basket with rounded base and high sides closing in slightly at the mouth, natural buff colour background with brown design and black accents, design repeated three times around sides is of four brown parallelograms stacked on one another in stairlike fashion moving up to the right, with serrated edges of black-tipped triangles along the sides and narrow black lines between each parallelogram. Between each steplike series on the buff background is an oblique double zig-zag line running from bottom to top of the basket. Lip is finished with three rows of twining of a lighter brown colour, pattern not visible on inside. Paper tag rimmed with metal is attached with cord and wax through lip of basket; no writing is visible.

- An untanned, buckskin jacket with floral beadwork design on the back across the shoulders in flowers with colours red, blue, black, yellow and leaves of green. The area below the beadwork is pinked and fringed. There is mirror image, identical beadwork on each side of the front of the jacket. There is a zippered front closure and a pinked and beaded portion on each side of the zipper. The beadwork is alternating blue, yellow and red flowers with blue and yellow leaves and stems and then below flowers with colours of red, blue, black, yellow and leaves in green. There are four flowers on each side. On the flat front pockets the borders are pinked and the beadwork is a flower with red petals rimmed with black and a yellow centre. The leaves and stem are green.

Head and foot boards are solid and fastened into cornerposts in mortise and tenon. Large metal carriage bolts fastened through the cornerposts into the frame. Corner reinforcement nailed through to frame. b) Mattress - innerspring covered in blue with large white floral wreath covering both sides, piping at edges imprinted "Simmons", vertical quilting on sides with four straps for turning, tufted through with bar-like buttons. c) Box spring - on wooden frame built to ride on frame of bed; covered with blue and white wide striped fabric with floral pattern on blue, whole covered with heavy white cotton fabric stapled to its frame.
