(b) rhodium ? plated, sparkling silver coloured ellipse of fine, delicate, filigree bordered by a narrow band of sharply engraved pattern which picks up the light. Framed at centre is oval 1.4 x .9 piece of transparent glass with a small diamond .2 cm dia. at the centre set in a diamond shaped setting. (a )elliptical silver, 7.1 x 4.3 x 2.0, surface engraved with scrolled leaf pattern in low relief. Bar across short axis of ellipse set into soldered ends on back so that it swivels. Hooked over, and soldered to swivelling bar are two very sharp, pointed prongs. (b) oval silver wreath , 6.8 x 5.5 x .8, cast, open work wreath made up of figures of griffins, vines and leaves. Across long axis is fixed swivelling bar to which are soldered two short, sharp curving, prongs. Attached on back is large U-shaped loop of silver, to hold belt. Gold filigree bar links alternated with small red enamelled circles, four gold ellipses, 2.4 cm long each filled with a different design of fine gold filigrees. Separated by two tiny gold disks enamelled with red circle containing gold cloisonne wire design, each very simple and different from one another. Each circle and each bar have two small eyes on either side which are joined to one another by small rings, giving the effect of a filigree square between each bar and circle, repeated around the bracelet. Ring bolt clasp, hand-made, 14 karat gold.

Four, wide, emerald cut white rhinestones at each side beneath crosspiece of "T" extending halfway down shaft. Rest of area beside shaft and around bottom in pointed shape is encrusted with brilliant cut white rhinestones. Large clasp at back hinged behind crossbar of "T". - A collection of two pairs of cufflinks, one pair of studs, plus four odd studs contained in small, square, blue jewellery case. Case, 6.3 2.8 x 6.3, square with slightly domed lid hinged at back, Metal covered with blue leather embossed with diamond pattern and gold line design framing lid, lined with cream coloured fabric, and black velvet with raised, slotted ridge along back. (a) nacre cufflinks, 1.5 x 2.3 x 1.5, pair two octagonal, nacre, disks framed in gold and joined by a single gold link through rings at the back. (b) gold cufflinks, 1.6 x 1.9 x 1.3, pair, two flat, eight sided, oblong plates with decorative line following shape, joined by single, solid, gold, bar link attached through rings at back.(c) gold studs, .9 x 1.0 x diam, pair, flat, round, disks with rolled edge and short shaft rising from centre terminating in small gold ball. (d) gold stud (1.0 h x 1.5 diam) - single stud constructed in same manner as (c) but gold ball at end of shaft is flattened. e) gold stud (1.2 h x 1.4 diam) - as (d) but smaller. (f) pearl stud, 1.5 h x 1.4 diam, flat, nacre button with short gold shaft riveted through centre and terminating in a flattened gold ball. (g) pearl stud, 1.5 x 1.5 diam, as (f) but shaft does not go through button, and flat gold knob pulls apart from shaft with long pin which snaps into the hollow shaft.

- A Japanese samurai sword with black cord handle and black scabbard. (a) sword, long curved steel blade connected at hilt with brass to wooden handle covered with white pebbly sharkskin which shows through diamond shapes left open under silk cord which wraps handle. Metal band at base of hilt and metal cap at its end have relief casting of leaves and blossoms, and a bronze casting of blossoms is caught under black cord wrapping handle, oval sword guard has cut out relief of branches and blossoms, with holes on either side large enough to allow dirk to pass through. (b) dirk, long thin blade set into brass handle with cast relief of heron standing in stream with incised bushes around. Japanese calligraphy on other side of handle. (c) scabbard, slightly curved to fit blade. Wood covered with fine grained leather with narrow black band, horn? at mouth and another at top of slit pocket where dirk slides in. Pocket groove on one side near top to accommodate dirk, and semi-circular black piece of carved horn on opposite side, threaded through with flat braided black silk cord to tie scabbard to belt

- Description
- A folding, wooden, drying rack which opens to form a high rack. Five separate frames made up of 3.0 x 2.0 square pieces of wood on the side with long dowel rods between through holes drilled in the side pieces. Frames hinged together with plywood braces which swing around the dowel rods to which they are attached, legs open in triangular shape and are held in place with plywood bars which swing around the third dowel and hook over the corresponding dowel on the other side. Arms swing up to form V-shape on top which is held in place by the fifth frame swinging over to form the top, and hooking over the top dowel of the other arm by means of small notches cut in its side pieces. All braces kept from sliding along the dowels by small pegs protruding from the dowel. Marks: on one of legs. "$4.00".
