There is a single thread at 9.5 cm from the blunt end that acts as a fulcrum to hang the rod. b) A violin-shaped case made of carved bamboo that is hinged with brass at the end of the stem. A braided rattan ring slides down the stem to secure it when closed. There are carved areas insidethe case to fit the pan, rod and weight. The case is marked with a symbol carved into the outside. There is also a red and white paper inside with Chinese characters and “Ex.B Harry Sam” handwritten.

Centre panel is 8.5 wide with blue background with finely detailed flowers in intense blues, reds and yellows with some white. (b) 24.0x16.5. Two pieces of string tied 3.0 from opening on shoulder to hold together when worn. Another band of beads at centre front and back 45.0 x 6.0 with 2 bands of light mauve beads, attached to bottom are 2 strings of short tube beads, dark blue on ends, others amber, each with a small brass bell at the bottom, some bells missing. - An untanned, buckskin jacket with floral beadwork design on the back across the shoulders in flowers with colours red, blue, black, yellow and leaves of green. The area below the beadwork is pinked and fringed. There is mirror image, identical beadwork on each side of the front of the jacket. There is a zippered front closure and a pinked and beaded portion on each side of the zipper. The beadwork is alternating blue, yellow and red flowers with blue and yellow leaves and stems and then below flowers with colours of red, blue, black, yellow and leaves in green. There are four flowers on each side. On the flat front pockets the borders are pinked and the beadwork is a flower with red petals rimmed with black and a yellow centre. The leaves and stem are green.
