A colour photograph with hand-coloured paper negative border. The photograph is dominated by a large tree in the centre, its branches reaching out of frame. The tree is in a flat field and in the distant background is a hill covered in trees and on the right there is a smaller hill. At the bottom right is a figure facing the tree (back to the camera) wearing a baby blue jacket with the hood up and rubber boots. A thick pale pink border surrounds the photograph. All along the boarder are hand-drawn outlines of wolves, camels, squirrels, armadillos and mountain sheep. Each of the animals is coloured in with either golden yellow, magenta, pale teal, or pale pink. There is also a thicker, loosely drawn, reddish-pink outline around each animal. Au verso there are two labels at the bottom. In the bottom left-hand corner is a label with black print, “Millerton, New York, 1985 Ektacolour print with hand coloured paper negative border”.
