On the left, beyond the foreground rocks, is a mass of violet-grey rock with a few small brushstrokes of green to indicate vegetation. Four areas of grey rock are found above the lake (in the upper half of the composition). The largest rock area is located on the right hand side and has crevices coloured violet.
