Description
In the foreground are several groups of evergreen trees on the grassy shore of a lake. On the left is a tall evergreen, in the centre are several short ones, and three tall evergreens are found near the right hand side. The trees have trunks of black and dark brown with branches of green and blue-green. A light turquoise lake is partially visible through the trees. Beyond the lake are two mountains. The foreground trees mirror the height of the background peaks: the summits fall behind the tallest trees, while the valley between the mountains is just above the central group of small evergreens. The mountains are coloured blue-grey, and grey mixed with brick-red. Areas of snow are white. The sky is light blue.
