- Description
- An unfinished sketch of a view of mountains beyond a lake. In the foreground, green and brown have been used to sketch in grasses and small trees (series of strokes placed one above the other). The surface of a light blue lake forms the middleground. Behind the lake, a hill of dark brown and black (blue) slopes from the left side of the picture. The structure of a mountain slope has been sketched in with grey (short parallel lines and a small triangle can be seen) on the righthand side. The far distance contains an unfinished mountain. (Tan has been laid over dark grey. Touches of light yellow indicate snow.) The sky has not been coloured.
