Cover has keyhole cut through for handle, and zips across ends and along one side with two zippers meeting at the middle by the handle. Suitcase is rectangular box of natural coloured pigskin covering a stiff, cardboard? form. Leather is stitched on and reinforced at corners with heavy leather patches riveted on. Box like lid stitched to bottom across back and supported inside with two strap hinges. Two heavy brass snap latches with keyholes in round locks on each side, English Lever". Heavy leather handle attached to middle of one side with heavy brass fittings. Inside lined with leather and has two canvas straps attached to bottom to secure clothes. Covered with travel stickers of hotels, steamship lined, railroads, etc. from around the world.

A large, semi soft suitcase of natural leather covered with travel stickers and secured with large leather straps. Leather stitched around on heavy metal frame at lip of lid, and narrower metal frame supporting bottom. Top one third of lid is accordian pleated to expand. All corners reinforced with large patches of leather riveted on. Heavy cut out leather handle fastened under brass brackets, with large brass snap latch beneath controlled by round lock button , Orbin. Two heavy belt straps buckle lid to bottom either side of the latch and continue around the lid to buckle over that and secure the expansion. Inside lined with laminated beige fabric and has leather straps in lid and bottom to secure clothes. Stuffed with newspaper, 1956, and two cardboard dress boxes, Holt, Renfrew & Co. Ltd, Eaton's of Canada, to maintain shape of soft bottom while stored. Attached to handle on small leather strap, a name tag from "Rotterdamshe Lloyd Royal Mail Line".

Description
Multiple studies of some area related to travel (i.e. airport, train station, dock, etc.). Near the BLC there multiple people drawn walking in different directions, most of which are pushing their luggage on trolleys/carts or carrying their bags. Near the middle of the paper there is mostly pencil drawings of different types of luggage being sketched out. Near the centre right edge there is a drawing of one person pushing multiple bags and trunk on a trolley/cart, to the right of this there is a sketch of what appears to be mans torso and below this there is quick scribbles of ink. Near the TRC there is a person pushing a trolley/cart with multiple luggage. To the left of this drawing in the TRC there is a larger study of a group of people waiting with their baggage and a conveyor belt being manned by some worker. One of the figures waiting appears to have dropped some of their baggage.
