- Bronze pack horse fully rigged, has a brand of left shoulder H; he stands on a solid base of bronze on which is etched T.R.C.R. 30 years and beside that 50; the assemblage is of various woods with a flat board as background and driftwood and bark as base and landscape; a rectangular piece of driftwood is attached at the top with wire; a brass plate of this piece reads: In honour of Ray Bagley whose homespun philosophy enriched the lives of all who called him friend. Remembered by the Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies; another brass plate is on the board: Time and stress will make or break Keep smiling though through tears. Long paper label on end of scroll with Japanese writing, presumably the title. Scroll is contained in long rectangular cardboard box with red brown lid and same label as on scroll pasted to top of lid, and ink stamped Japanese writing inside base of box. Also contains green paper sheets in English and Japanese explaining the scroll, and a sheet of white paper completely in Japanese.Made in Japan.
