- Rankin cup trophy is double handled, lidded, and sits on a circular, lathed, black painted wooden base. Tall, deep cup on circular foot, with ornate, amphora like handles. Opposite side of cup engraved "Ski Runners of the Canadian Rockies, Downhill Challenge Cup, Presented by Mr. Niall & Lady Jean Rankin, March 1932". Hallmarks near handle include "M&W" within crest, crown within pentagon, lion passant crest and "P" within crest. Lid slopes to narrow top knob in leaf design.
