Handmade paper hatbox with a lid. One piece of heavy paper is bent into a rounded oblong shape, and stitched together at one side. The bottom is attached with blue fabric. The overall pattern on the hatbox is a blue background wtih yellow and red flowers and feathers. The lid has the same pattern with fabric glued around the outside edge. A small piece of fabric, with illegible handwriting, is glued to the centre of the lid. A string loop handle is threaded in one side.
