He is sitting on the floor, yoga position, open hands, extended. Items for sale: 1 big woven chicken coop, 2 medium sized chicken coops, 1 big woven basket with one end open for chaffiing, 1 medium sized flat sparrow coop, 3 smaller flat sparrow coops, several carrying baskets, sieves of various gratings, various wooden dustpans, 1 fish basket, 3 hand brushes, scrub brushes. The shopkeeper was probably a basket weaver as well.

Hand painted face of suggested eyes and nose and mouth, and rosy cheeks. A saw cut extends through most of the skier's right boot, obviously made after the figure was painted, but for no ascertainable reason.
