As a legislator, Cote was influential in the development of Alberta’s Tar Sands. Additionally, the foreword has been written by E.J. Hart, the previous director of the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, thus drawing a connection to the Canadian Rocky Mountains but more specifically, Banff.
